This is an original issue AMT '57 Chevy from the early 60s. I call it the "Salvage Special".
My goal was to do a custom along the lines of some popular styles from the early 60s.
I thought it would be fun to take a really far gone model and see if I could bring it back to life.
Custom parts came from AMT's reissue of the kit. It has rolled pans front and rear.
Paint is a custom mix. I created the decals on my computer.
I did a lot of work on the interior using materials from the WalMart Crafts section.
